That saucy title alludes to the 1976 song written by Peter Yarrow and recorded by Mary MacGregor — which a certain girl dedicated to me in a high school talent show back in the dark ages— and not to a kinky love triangle.
I'm sorry if I’ve gotten your hopes up. Unfortunately (for you), this post isn’t about that.
Well, it's not the kind of love triangle you’re probably thinking about anyway. Maybe read a few of Dr. Amber Hull's posts like the one here to tickle that fancy. (I did. 🤭)
But since I have your attention…
My two lovers…EXPOSED
Wow…I really should write for the tabloids. It might pay more than a free Substack. 🙄
What I meant was…
I’ve combined two three focal interests into this Substack
All the Substack Goddesses tell us to specialize, but I haven’t lived this long because I followed everyone else.
So, here’s a breakdown of the two three publications (I added another).
Pub. 1️⃣ ZENish ☸️
Yes, I’ve added a third focal area — my ZENish Buddhist path
In 2014, I wrote a book called The Practical Buddhist—Buddhism Without the Robes & Ritual. It provided an overview of my ZENish Buddhist path, a blend of Soto Zen and Theravada Buddhist paths.
I used to write a Substack dedicated to this, and since I prefer things under one roof, I’ll pull in the best posts from ZENish.
You can listen to two free 5-minute guided meditations here!
Pub.2️⃣ TEACH WHAT YOU KNOW 👨🏼🏫
A tutorial-based topic based on my history of creating courses, specifically 6-10 lesson mini-courses delivered via email.
Forget fancy teaching sites with even more usernames and passwords to remember
Create mini-courses and generate quick revenue…because that’s why you’re on Substack
Email delivery is nearly foolproof, and none of your customers will email you at midnight asking for a password reset. 🥳
You can subscribe here to that email newsletter and receive two chapters from my book, Expertise To Income.
Pub. 3️⃣ THE SENSITIVE SUPERHERO 🦸🏼♂️
Here, I write about and produce digital magazines for empathic and highly sensitive (HSPs) guys who ‘feel everything at full volume.’
MenPaths (a term I coined about 10 years ago when I began writing about this topic) account for 15-20% of the male population.
Among many, here’s a list of just a few of our traits:
☑️We’re highly intuitive
☑️ We need alone time to recover from over-stimulation
☑️ We have highly-tuned senses
☑️ We absorb energy from other people
☑️ We can’t explain it, but we often know things before others do
You can read more about our sensitive superheroes here.
You can also subscribe to this facet of my work by clicking here, after which I’ll send you a 5-lesson mini-course on the topic.
