ISSUE #71 - I Have a Monetization B.H.A.G. and So Should You

I only think about income in terms of $15K/month right now.

That was my last corporate salary before retiring. I’ve made more —and less—than that in years past.

But $15K/month Isn’t my B.H.A.G.

My B.H.A.G. is $20K/month. Every month.

I mentioned this yesterday.

The way I see it, you and I both need what Jim Collins (in his books, Good To Great and Built To Last) calls a B.H.A.G. or a Big Hairy Audacious Goal. It doesn’t matter where I am on the revenue scale; this monetization B.H.A.G. is always at the forefront of my mind.

Do you have a monetization B.H.A.G.?

If you’re in business, you should.

It should be so big and audacious that it might take you years to achieve. But that’s the beauty of it. It’s possible if you work at it every day.

I have no doubt I’ll reach my monetization B.H.A.G. of $20K/month in revenue. It’s just out there in front of me and I can almost feel it.

You don't have a business unless you’re:
writing online every day
targeting a specific audience
naming their challenges and showing them that you understand them
hinting at an ultimate solution to their challenges

If you don’t have a business, you’re a dreamer, and you’re no closer to a Monetization B.H.A.G. than the guy on the corner holding a cardboard sign.

In fact, the guy on the corner with a cardboard sign may be closer to a monetization B.H.A.G. than you are.
